The Republican Supreme Court Has Given President Joe Biden No Choice But To Expand The Court. If He Doesn’t Try, He Will Lose Support From His Base. The Court Is Supposed To Rule Based On The Constitution, Not Their Personal Politics. Justice Alito Is An Arrogant Right-Winger Who Flew Flags At His Homes That Symbolize Support For The Insurrection. Justice Thomas Scrounges Gifts From Billionnaires And Hides It. Justices Gorsach And Kavanaugh Have Had Scandals Around Finances And Sexual Assault.
Maintaining equal freedom for all Americans is at risk due to the religious extremism, racism, misogyny, and narcissism of the Republican members of the Court. Americans won’t continue to accept or abide by their cruel, partisan decisions. These Bush/Trump appointees have caused the Court to have one of the lowest approval rating in American history. In addition to the stain on the Court made by Alito and Thomas is the weak, complicit, passive Chief Justice John Roberts. Democratic Senator Sheldon White House is leading the campaign to establish ethical guidelines for the Court that are enforceable by Congress. The level of corruption on this Court justifies the end of the arrogant, self-policing era for Supreme Court Justices. Justice Alito and Justice Thomas have revealed their support of the insurrectionists belief that the 2020 el3ctioj was stolen. Thomas’s wife Ginny Thomas was actively working to block the peaceful transfer of power on Jan. 6th. These Justices should recuse themselves on any case related to Jan. 6th. If they don’t, impeachment proceedings should proceed.

President Biden’s reason for oppos8ng the expanding of the Supreme Court has become laughable. The alt-right Supreme Court is already politicized. It’s rulings are party line MAGA far-right against women’s rights, blocking access to voting for minority populations, and defending the Constitution. They are not unbiased. They are flouting their extremist religious beliefs and partisan politics in their rulings because there are currently no laws or rules to stop them. The MAGA/ Trump era has exposed flaws in our democratic system that must be changed. The partisan extremism shown by Republicans has has started a war on bi-partisanship. Without bi-partisanship there is no demicracy. Some of those essential changes needed to strengthen our democracy are: :
Eliminate life appointments for Supreme Court Justices and federal judges
Eliminate the electoral college
Remove members of Congress who lie to the public and spread conspiracy theories
Overturn gerrymandering practices that limit minorities access to vote.
Require Presidents to release their tax returns, and their full medical records.
The Democrat Justices on the Supreme Court have no unreported billionaire gifts, no accusations of sexual assault, no conflict of interest rulings, no colluding with insurrectionists, and no lying during their confirmation hearings. Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brown- Jackson’s rulings align with the Constitution, demonstrate common sense, respect precedent, and keep their political views out of how they rule. Justice Sotomayor has said there is a “stench” coming from the court. She is right. The Democrat Justices need to break their silence about how concerned and disappointed they feel about the degradation their partisan, right-wing colleagues are bringing to the court. They should set aside concerns about breaking the precedent of unity between the justices. The MAGA judges are breaking with precedent, norms, and values that used to be respected by the Court. Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brown-Jackson should publicly speak out and tell Americans to voice their concerns about corruption and the taking away of individual freedoms by the extremist right-wing Justices.Democrats should demand peaceful demonstrations calling for Justice Alito and Thomas to resign, be investigated, or be removed from cases when there is a conflict of interest.
