The GE2019 CON “don’t know” is moving again
I always like to see polls in groups and the table above from Wikipedia shows what has happened over the past few weeks.
Gone are the days when the Tories were 25 or 30% behind and we see almost the majority of surveys now with a lead in teenagers instead of 20s.
Looking at the fine details, the change was driven not by fewer CON 2019 voters who said they now supported Labour, but by a reduction in the number of GE2019 Tory voters who said they didn’t know.
Whether you agree with him or not, the prime minister exudes an air of professionalism without the negativity we see with Boris Johnson and Liz Truss.
I still think Labor will win most seats but I wouldn’t bet on a LAB majority.
