What is “Lie to sleep tonight”
One of the big stories in US politics today is George Santos who last November won the Long Island seat in the US House of Representatives for the Republicans.
The reason this is so big is because many of the things he says about himself have been proven to be total fabrications. This included lying about his mother being in the twin towers on 9/11 and that he was Jewish.
What is revealed in the panel above is what sample pollsters said when asked whether Santos should resign. That 71% of Republican voters now think they should go, but nothing can be done until 2024.
Either way it is difficult to see Santos re-nominated by his party for the next election
