The big question about the Archbishop’s attack on Sunak’s small ships is what effect it will have on public opinion and whether it will encourage other opponents to fight back.

The latest YouGov poll on the issue has 50% in favor of Sunak and 36% opposed. My guess is that the split will be tighter after the intervention.

It can have an impact on the court and how judges handle the cases that will arise.

It also puts the UK at odds with international law.

Personally, I am with the Archbishop.
