Theresa Judge took fans to the Montville, New Jersey home he shared with his wife, Luis Ruelas.
Nearly two years after purchasing the 7,728-square-foot home, which has seven bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members gave a tour of the property, named Clarence Manor, which was reportedly modeled after the artist Thomas Kinkade“Beyond the Summer Gate.”
“Welcome to my new home. Luis and I built this house to be a sanctuary. It’s all about love, love, love, good energy, and good vibes,” Teresa said as she opened the front door in a video for Bravo.
The home is surrounded by mature trees for the privacy the family needs.
The driveway provides plenty of room for guests.
“Luis and I like to cook together, and I’m all about black and gold,” Teresa explained as she showed her beautiful kitchen, which many compared to her brother who had left behind, Joe Gorgaand his wife, Melissa Gorga.
As she walks around the room, Teresa tells the camera that she has a favorite cookbook, Excellent!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbookdisplayed “because it has been [her] mother there.”
The white in the kitchen is broken by the black hood, window trim, and island features.
“This is where we hang out and watch TV every night,” she continued walking from the kitchen to the family room. “I love that when we hang out in the kitchen, everyone can hang out both ways…the kitchen, the family room, and it just flows together.”
The living room has a fireplace and access to the outdoors.
As they move into the dining room, which features chandeliers and art on the walls, Teresa tells them, “This is my official dining room.”
“I want to have a little dinner party here because we have a big family,” she said, nodding to her husband’s four daughters and son.
Two sets of French doors can be found in the dining room.
Teresa also has a party at her home bar.
“We entertain, mix drinks… In this house, we drink a lot of tequila and pineapple. We might shoot when we feel crazy,” said Teresa.
The bar has a mirrored backsplash and stunning countertops.
Downstairs, Teresa says she and Luis’ basement are all about entertainment and “staying busy.”
The stairs of the house have iron coils.
“This is the cinema,” he opened, pointing to the impressive space. “We like to pop popcorn, put our feet up, relax. It’s great that you don’t have to leave the house to go to the movies.”
Big red chairs with cupholders are seen in the front theater.
And when they need a quieter place, it’s all about the sacred room or the buddha room.
“This is the room where I sit and make my journal. I meditate. I feel very zen, and I feel calm,” he explained.
Buddha statues are visible in the zen room, which has a lot of natural light.
Teresa also has a home gym.
“This is my gym. There are a lot of motivational words I say inside the room,” he said.
Exercise balls, free weights, and cardio machines can be found in the gym.
“And that’s what motivates me the most,” he continued. “Anytime I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to lose those five pounds,’ I look at these two photos, and it just motivates me.”
Framed photos of Teresa’s bodybuilding days drape the walls of the gym.
“This is my backyard,” Teresa said as she stepped out into the backyard oasis, which pays homage to her dead parents, Hyacinth Gorga and Antonia Gorga.
“Luis likes to make pizza, so we got this mosaic pizza oven, specially made. We all sit here and eat pizza together. There is enough seating for everyone,” he shared.
The outdoor kitchen has its own oven and pizza grill.
And, about the rest of the place, he added, “Our swimming pool, we have a nice slide, and I like the waterfall. I can be an intermediary here. We have our own private resort in the backyard.
