Theresa Judge open about her current estrangement from Melissa Gorga in a recent interview, admitted to not speaking to his sister-in-law and sister, Joe Gorgait’s better that way.
Ahead of the season 13 premiere of Real Housewives of New JerseyTeresa teases the “highs” and “lows” of the new episode before addressing her drama with Gorgas, Jennifer Aydin‘s season 12 feud with Dolores Cataniaand his current relationship with Margaret Josephs.
“This season has been an emotional one for me. There have been a lot of highs, and of course, a lot of lows,” Teresa began in a Feb. 4 interview with Us Weekly.
In the premiere episode, Melissa and Joe look again at the snub of Teresa’s bridesmaid, which Teresa announced in the episode of Watch What Happens Live in March 2022, as Joe pointed out that Teresa’s decision against including Melissa in the wedding party was a big statement.
“It didn’t come from a bad place. I just came out of my heart, how I felt,” said Teresa about the direct declaration. “You put people in the party who really love you, who love you, who stand up for you, who you feel the closest relationship with… We’re not that close.”
According to Teresa, her decision was firmer when Melissa allowed her close friend to talk trash Luis Ruelas ahead of their August wedding.
“One of his friends hurt Luis and he didn’t do anything… It’s usually someone close to you, like I know all your best friends, anyone, hairdresser, make-up artist, if they hear someone talking about that negative. Luis, I know he’s going to voice his opinion and say, like, ‘Stop,'” Teresa said. “And my sister doesn’t. It just shows where she stands with me.
Teresa also notes that when it comes to the Gorgas’ problem with Melissa being snubbed, they don’t have a problem until the cameras start rolling.
“It ended up being a problem when we started filming. [Because] it didn’t matter and then Luis finally asked my sister to be at the wedding and she didn’t mind,” Teresa said.
And while Teresa previously blamed Melissa for the drama between them, she confirmed that the tables were turned in the middle of filming. RHONJ season 13.
“This season I was just blown away by my sister,” he explained. “I would say right now it’s like 90 percent of my brother. It’s crazy. It’s true [hurtful and] impair. It’s like a feeling you don’t want to go through with your brother.
“I didn’t see him during the holidays. We don’t talk and it’s better that way,” she said.
Despite the drama with Melissa and Joe, Teresa says she’s doing her best to present a more authentic and calmer version of herself in the new season.
“I have watched the episode that I have been in, like flipping the table and what happened with Margaret and I really do not like my behavior,” he admitted. “I have four daughters. I don’t want him to act like that, so I want to change that about myself. Because listen, now we live in 2023. We can’t get physical anymore. We need to speak with words and get the point across that way.
“I’m working on myself to sugarcoat it better,” he added.
As for Jennifer and Dolores’ feud in season 12, Teresa revealed that she was involved in reconciliation.
“I love them both, so I always help, talk to Dolores, talk to Jen,” she said.
And regarding her decision to make a mistake with Margaret at the start of season 13, Teresa said she did it because she wanted peace – before blaming Margaret for her past drama and insisting they were no longer in a relationship.
“I didn’t want drama and the only reason we had drama in the first place was because of Margaret. It wasn’t my doing. So it was like, I just wanted peace. I wanted to invite her to my wedding. Margaret and I started in a good place and then she came for me,” Teresa confirmed. “Of course, I look like a bad person because of my reaction after what he did.”
Also during the interview, after noting that she is “always excited for new blood,” Teresa doubled down on claims that she could potentially leave. RHONJ in four years for warmer weather.
“Yes! Four years Audriana is going to college. So maybe I’ll join as well [RHOC] or [RHOBH] … I like Beverly Hills or Miami. Because I always want to go somewhere hot… I want to do six months here and six months in either California or Miami.
