
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has praised the “unstoppable” Marcus Rashford after his superb goal against Nottingham Forest helped his side reach the Carabao Cup final.
Rashford scored for the 10th time in 10 games since the World Cup to set United up 3-0 in the semi-final first leg at the City Ground.

“There are more players (who) play well, but I like Marcus,” Ten Hag said.

“(With) his performance and his development. Since the beginning of the season, he has grown and continues to do so. That is what we have to aim for with him and he is responsible for maintaining the process. If he is in this atmosphere and (plays with) this spirit, he is not can be stopped.
“It’s also about the team to get him in that position .. and also the intuition of an individual like Rashy is to create chances.”
Rashford’s next chance to continue his scoring streak could come when United host English Championship side Reading in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The Ten Hags then have a Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Forest on Wednesday, before their Premier League campaign resumes on February 4, with a visit to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace.
