Judge Tamra said he came out after undergoing a series of abdominal procedures to repair the hernia and remove scar tissue.
Years after the previous hernia surgery left him without a belly button, the The Real Housewives of Orange County cast members took to his Instagram story with a series of updates, one of which confirmed that after living for years without a belly button, he “finally” has one more.
In a photo shared a few days ago from her hospital bed, Tamra gave the camera a peace sign as she showed off the results of her surgery, including a heart-shaped bandage on her new navel, and revealed that the surgery was performed by Donald S. MoldsMD, board certified plastic surgeon specializing in breast and body procedures.
In another picture, Tamra is seen at home, where she exercises a pain pump.
“Please pray for me,” he pleaded in the caption of the third photo.
According to a Jan. 3 report from Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Tamra took to her social media account after surgery to admit “the pain is brutal”
“Hey, just wanted to say Happy New Year. I’m in a little worse shape than I expected. But I have a pain pump here [and] channel,” he said in his Instagram story. “[I] went in for revision hernia surgery that I had 10 years ago. And I entered [and got] less than I expected.”
According to Tamra, she experienced complications during the procedure that led to additional surgery.
“[Dr. Donald S. Mowlds] found another hernia and the upper abdomen and the entire abdomen was covered with scar tissue. So he had to dissect them all. So I only had a little pain,” he said.
Fortunately, the longtime reality star is in “good hands” with her husband Eddie Judgewho appears to be cooking for him in another post.
“The best little helper. Take care of me this week,” she said in the caption, via the Daily Dish report twice.
As RHOC fans have definitely heard, Tamra confirmed to return to RHOC during an episode of Watch What Happens Live end of summer.
“Me [excited]”he said at the time, he was noting that he had a “totally different perspective” after a much-needed break.
“I think not two years is probably the best [Andy Cohen] it didn’t work for me — even if I didn’t like it,” Tamra said. “I was on the show for 12 years. [And] if you’ve been around for a long time, you’re a professional housewife. And then when you’re done, you’re like, ‘Oh, ouch, oh, I did that?’ You come back and you’re like, ‘I’m kind of an a-hole.’ You come back with a different perspective… So thanks for firing me.
Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime early this year.
