Tammy Slaton: I Married My BFF, And It’s Amazing!

Married life seems to be very good for Tammy Slaton.

I mean that literally, because the 1,000-Lb Sisters star recently uploaded a social media photo featuring her looking as slim as ever.

But we also mean this emotionally, considering what Slaton just told People Magazine.

“Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room,” the 36-year-old just told this outlet. “I’m actually married to my best friend.”

His best friend, of course, is Caleb Willingham.

She has been a resident at the same weight loss/treatment facility that Tammy has called home since early 2022.

“She started dating Caleb in rehab, and I’m really happy that she’s meeting people and not dating online,” an insider told The Sun this fall, shortly after news broke that Willingham had proposed in the facility’s missing parking lot. Ohio.

“They’ve had a lot of the same struggles that they’ve been through. They’ve been a great support to each other [in rehab]that’s great.”

Anyway, huh?!?! This is the new Tammy Slaton, as the reality star has clearly lost weight.

Slaton and Willingham were married on November 20 at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio.

“You all know me as Tammy Slaton, but now you’ll know me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham,” she said at the time. “I’m married now!”

Tammy wore a white dress and tiara for the big day, while surrounded by around 30 loved ones – including her sister and co-star Amy.

Caleb reportedly plans to move to Kentucky to spend more time with his wife after the two leave the center.

Meanwhile, just a few weeks, from the return of 1000-Lb. sister.

Season 4 premieres January 17th at 9/8c and a new preview has brought fans back to the medical crisis that landed Tammy in the hospital a few months ago.

In the footage we’ve seen so far, Tammy is given a tracheotomy – a surgical procedure that creates a hole in the throat to insert a breathing tube – to ensure doctors can provide emergency breathing support at any time.

Despite a health scare, she boasted, “I’m still here, whore!”

We also saw how close Tammy was to death in one of the trailers released online.

In November, when it announced the 1,000-Lb Sisters would return for Season 4, TLC included a synopsis that read:

Tammy made a “life-changing decision” after surviving a near-death experience.

Amy, expecting her second baby, isn’t sure how to handle being an overweight mom, while Chris is desperate to get away with skin-removal surgery.
