Given the way the polls have gone, it’s hard to see any recovery in the months leading up to the general election. The public seem to have made up their minds about Sunak and his party and there are some positive signs for the Tories.
The July 20 election is likely to add another nail to the coffin and there are reports that he has given up.
So when will the next election be held? I will see if Sunak will wait until the end and we can have an election in January 2025. Unless there is a dramatic change in public opinion, he will not go to the country when there is a certain defeat. can only succeed.
According to the law “If it has not been dissolved before, the Parliament dissolves at the beginning of the day that is the fifth anniversary of the first day of meeting.” So the last possible date is the end of January 2025.
If there is a betting market on this, I will participate in the month with the election on January 30, 2025.
