Tuesday’s papers have just arrived and of course the public row between Sunak and Johnson dominates the front page.

There is no special poll but I am starting to think that Sunak is out of this well. He stopped Johnson from getting too far down the list of awards and I was impressed with his response. We have seen a very different Sunak – who is ready to fight his predecessor, but one and I guess this will help him and the party.

Telling Johnson that he can’t have what he wants won’t be easy, but Sunak has done it. The clip is impressive.
