Lindsay Hubbard still reeling from her fallout with her former best friend and co-star, Danielle Oliveraas the seventh season of Summer House recently kicked off.
As seen in the season seven trailer, Lindsay and Danielle’s friendship seems to be beginning to fray over Danielle’s reservations about Lindsay’s relationship with her fiance, Carl Radke. The truth is so bad that Lindsay recently revealed that the two are no longer on speaking terms. Carl also revealed that the relationship between Danielle and her boyfriend, Boss Robert Sieberhas “erased”.
“We are not in communication,” Lindsay told Hiburan Bengi while promoting Summer House together with Carl. “I think it takes a lot of time to process feelings and emotions.”
Lindsay went on to add that she’s still “not over” what happened between last summer, and she said that until she “got where [she’s] ready to forgive, “it’s no use talking.”
At Summer House star explained that he could not pinpoint the exact moment when he and Danielle’s friendship began to take one. However, Carl believes it may have stemmed from Danielle’s relationship with Chef Robert and the jealousy creeping in as Carl and Lindsay’s relationship flourished.
“[Lindsay’s] have a really good friend. He had tried with Danielle. He has been a person for Danielle to support her, talk to her about whatever is happening in her life,” said Carl. “Danielle has been in a relationship with Robert, I don’t know if it’s still there or not. They’re not together, that’s what we’re told. But Danielle is in a relationship with a serious chef, and she travels around. There’s no hate about her leaving. We’re doing the best we can.”
Carl kept calling the whole situation “sad”.
“Unfortunately, when you’re in a more serious relationship, people focus too much and grow less and it doesn’t seem like Danielle supports that growth or change,” she said.
Lindsay said she “100 percent” wants to reconcile what happened between her and Danielle, and she’s hopeful that the two can “heal” from the fallout.
“It’s not just a ‘best friend’ title, it’s like, ‘Oh, we’re filming a TV show together and I’m going to hang out with you for the summer and not see you for the rest of the season…'” she said. . “It’s, like, your best friend in everyday life.”
Carl ended the interview by saying that “only hope” for Summer House is to change him and Lindsay for the better and allow them to “grow.”
