Fake friendship? Danielle Olivera expressed concern about how quickly the former BFF Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke they advance before the August 2022 engagement.
“That’s what I’m afraid of, it’s like a fairy tale,” Danielle, 34, said on the Monday, March 13, episode of Summer Housewhich was filmed in July 2022. “They play house.”
The tech teacher pointed out to her fellow housemates that Lindsay, 36, and Carl, 38, “have this insanely expensive apartment” which makes her worried about their relationship. “It feels a little fragile,” he admits.
Danielle and Lindsay have since been falling out over the romance of the founder of Hubb House PR with the former Loverboy VP of sales – and her comments on Friday’s episode seem to be just the tip of the iceberg. (Carl, for his part, proposed to Lindsay in August 2022 after announcing their relationship less than a year later.)
Elsewhere in the episode, Kyle Cooke and Carl were navigating the downfall of their own friendship. After blowing up on Lindsay during the March 6 episode, Kyle’s rant about the Florida native continues.
“He ruined everything,” the founder of Loverboy, 40, told the camera, referring to Lindsay not only affecting his friendship with Carl but the alleged girl’s tactics towards his wife, Amanda Batula. “He completely brainwashed my friend [and] my wife is crying.”
Kyle previously attacked Lindsay because he felt she was in a game of “stirring the pot,” which played out in the March 6 episode. Viewers got a behind-the-scenes look at Monday’s show, including what Carl thought of Kyle’s aggressive tone.
“I’m really angry and frustrated. One of your best friends is yelling at your girlfriend in a bad and rude way,” said the Pittsburgh native during his confessional on Monday’s episode. “If it wasn’t for someone who was my friend and my boss, it would have been very different. My instinct [are], ‘I’ll just beat the fk out of you. I will fight you.’ That’s what old Carl would do and I don’t want to live like that anymore.
Kyle, meanwhile, joked: “Good luck to Carl. [He and Lindsay are] package of chaos.” She later added, “He’s a horrible person and it makes me sick that my best friend thinks he’s going to marry her.”
