Another brother from East Africa told me that in many countries in East Africa, the most successful and richest people are usually Indians or Arabs, so they think that they are not from their own country. So, when the black Africans in East Africa began to see how comfortable Nigerians were at being the best, they now dared to challenge the Arabs and Indians in their country.
How Nigeria stands in Africa
Nigeria is indeed a giant in Africa. This is not just about the population where every fifth black African is a Nigerian. Our country also controls much of the economic power of the continent, with one-sixth of the total wealth of the Nigerian continent. In West Africa, Nigeria controls two-thirds of the region’s economy, although there are 15 countries there. What is more surprising is that Nigeria plays a big role as a big brother to all countries in Africa:

Nigeria is Transforming Africa, Economically and Socially
In this part of the article, I will only use one country, Nigeria, to illustrate the role of the big brother in other African countries. Let’s examine Nigeria’s economic investment in Ghana. Nigeria is the number one investor country in Ghana, out of all African countries, followed by South Africa. A similar picture can be found in most countries on the continent, where Nigeria is helping to boost its economy through aggressive investment.

Nigeria Controls The Entertainment Industry In Africa
I recently saw the following article on the internet, which further proves Nigeria’s place in the African music and entertainment industry and beyond.

“Nigerian singer Rema has surpassed 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify. She joins Nigerian singer CKay as the second African artist to achieve this milestone.
In October 2021, CKay became the first African artist to reach over 30 million monthly listeners on the popular music streaming platform. The Edo state born musician from Benin-City, Nigeria is doing well.
These are Spotify’s top 10 monthly listeners in Africa.
1) Rema – 20.1 million – Nigeria
2) Burna Boy – 18.7 million – Nigeria
3) Tem – 15.4 million – Nigeria
4) Bro – 15.3 million – Nigeria
5) Wizkid – 8.8 million – Nigeria
6) Fireboy – 7.8 million – Nigeria
7) Flute – 7.3 million – Algeria
8) Oxlade – 5.4 million – Nigeria
9) Mr. Eazi – 5.07 million – Nigeria
10) Amaarae – 5.05 million – Ghana

Apart from economic influence, Nigeria’s cultural and social influence in Africa is stronger than economic influence. The Nigerian music industry is attracting contemporaries across Africa. The same can be said about the film industry; it is so big that even in African countries speaking French, and the Nigerian accent or even pidgin can be heard from the citizens. Simply put, Nigeria is the United States of Africa. So let’s stop disrespecting our country for Christ’s sake.
Nigeria’s Influence Is Ruining All Areas Of Life In Africa
Brother Cameroon recently called to thank you for giving all the positive information and statistics about Nigeria. According to him, Nigeria is the only point of reference for black people. Otherwise, only North African countries will be talked about, which will increase the understanding that black people cannot be anything in life. If you point to South Africa, they will say it was built by Whites. But so many Nigerians have done well in all fields, encouraging our African friends.
