Stassi Schroeder believe it is the perfect time to Christian Doute to return to Vanderpump Rules.
Weeks after Kristen rejoined the cast, after she and Stassi were fired in June 2020, to support Ariana Madix amid the fallout from Tom Sandoval and Rachel Lewis‘ relationship, Stassi reacted to the news while also sharing her thoughts on Scandoval and revealing that her former co-stars learned about her second pregnancy.
“It feels very vintage,” Stassi told Us Weekly last week. “I saw a photo of him walking up and, like, looking at the crew behind him, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, what’s that like?'”
According to Stassi, there is no one better than Christian to approach Sandoval and Raquel’s betrayal.
“Listen, if there’s ever a time for Kristen to come back, this is when they need her,” Stassi said. “This is when Christian shines, flourishes – he can find anything. He can face anyone. He will finish. He has people’s backs, he rallies for a cause like this.
“Christianity is what people need today,” Stassi added.
Later, when asked about her reaction to Scandoval, Stassi explained that she was Team Ariana.
“If you’re not Team Ariana, get the f-ck out of here,” he demanded. “Like, it shouldn’t be a question. Would someone come out and be like, ‘I’m Tim Tom.’ Who is Tim Tom? Show me that person.”
While Stassi doesn’t plan on reuniting Pump Rules himself, he said he was not opposed to returning to television in other ways.
“I love doing reality TV,” she admits. “I miss you so much. I think one day, someone will be like, ‘Oh, this makes sense for me to make a movie.’ I don’t know what it is now, but I’m definitely open to filming reality TV again.
For now, Stassi is focusing on her 2-year-old daughter, Hartford, and son, who is due later this year.
“Of course, Katie knows [early]. Katie was one of the first people I told that I was pregnant and she knew I was trying [to conceive] so she’s waiting,” Stassi said, also to Us Weekly Pump Rules castmate learned about her first pregnancy.
“We used to do this exercise every Monday for, like, a year and a half. We did it [electric muscle stimulation (EMS) training] at my house every Monday … and I can’t do it when I’m pregnant, and I’m afraid to do it even if I try,” she continued. “But, yes, Katie knows [and Tom Schwartz] know, [because my husband], [Beau Clark], is really close to Schwartz. I mean, me too.”
Since Stassi can’t do the same exercises, she hasn’t been able to see Katie. And, Katie, who is Hartford’s godmother, has not seen the boy very often.
“[Katie] used to see [Hartford] every Monday,” Stassi said. “It’s weird when you’re used to seeing people every Monday, like, [you have a] routine, and then you get pregnant, and it’s like, ‘Wait, I miss you.’ But, he was the best, and he loved Hartford.
Although other than Pump Rules Cast learned about her pregnancy on social media, almost everyone congratulated her.
“We’re all pretty good at putting our differences aside when something important happens, like a baby being born. Like, who cares if you fight? You say hello to each other, you know?” he asked.
As for his future Dear Grandma demo, Stassi admits that it will be different from her last time since she can no longer throw back the Aperol Spritz cocktail.
“I think I’m going to be more focused, I’m going to be more motivated,” Stassi said. “Something happened when I was pregnant, I felt like I wanted to do more, more, more. So, I felt that this would be a very different experience than the first time I traveled.
Vanderpump Rules Season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
