Stassi Schroeder reflected on the end of a past friendship during a podcast episode relaunching in December 2022, Straight up with Stassi.
After admitting he learned to appreciate the “slower life” after being fired Vanderpump Rules in June 2020, Stassi said that after being forced to spend time with people she “didn’t like” on the Bravo reality series, she learned to cut people out of her life who didn’t bring her “joy or happiness.”
“Why do I have to hang out with people who keep putting me down on other podcasts? Why do I have to do that? Why?” Stassi asked, via Heavy. “Because people on Instagram are leaving comments like, ‘Why don’t you hang out with this guy anymore?’ Because I don’t want to! Because this person does not bring joy and this person – I do not know, we have outgrown each other and that is allowed.
Although Stassi didn’t mention her name, she has become very public Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright months ago after the couple failed to attend him and Clark is handsome‘s intimate wedding in Italy, admitting that some factors led to them bailing a few hours before Stassi and Beau headed to Europe.
Moving on from her friends who are done, Stassi says that she and Beau are hoping to welcome their second child this year.
“The main thing I want to do in 2023 is that I really want to have a baby,” she shared, via Heavy. “I always knew that I wanted a big family, a big family that I could have, I knew that I wanted to have a lot of children, you know, you never know what you’re going to be blessed with.”
According to Stassi, she felt her role as a mother after welcoming daughter Hartford in January 2021. However, after returning Straight up with Stassi and the publication of a second book, Die With My Head: The Definitive Basic B**** Handbook for Rock Bottom Survivinghe felt energized again.
“I am also a person, I am not just a mother, I have that part again. I am me. Stassi is also important,” he said. “That’s why I’m scared of getting pregnant again for a while and I hope it doesn’t take long because I don’t know, you know, it takes a while to get pregnant and we’re at the point where I want that more than anything in the world.”
Stassi is also writing a third book, but she doesn’t want to spoil any details.
“It’s ‘Basic B**** Handguide,’ still that but the message – it’s very clear and different but I can’t say too much, just know I used it,” he confirmed.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to start broadcasting on Bravo early in the year.
