Starmer looks set to become PM but will LAB have a majority? – politicalbetting.com

Locals last week did not go as far as Labor might have hoped, but there is no doubt that the party is in a good position to win back power at the next election. The big question is whether Starmer will have an overall majority or not, and there are many different views.

Thus, after the results of May 4, the leading commentator and analyst John Rentoul said that there will be a LAB minority government. This was on Friday, but when the weekend column was published, they had predicted a LAB count of only one.

Clearly, things are looking tight and there are big doubts about the numbers that can be read in the results of the local elections.

What we do know is that the boundaries that the next election will be in favor of the Tory party.

At the moment I don’t think that LAB will reach 326 MP – 50% of Commons plus 1. But total MP 316-317 should be enough for Starmer in total control.
