South Africa’s Mmeli is first Head of House

Big Brother Titans premiere on Saturday night with 10 South Africans and 10 Nigerian housemates vying for a $100,000-star prize, among other perks.

Building on expectations, the housemates have the first game to determine the first season of Head of House (HOH). As usual with Big Brother, the game is divided into two parts.

In the first game all 20 housemates build six paper airplanes. The rule is to throw them as far as they can across the lines marked in the arena.

They make and throw paper airplanes in groups of 10 each – boys and girls. The two best-performing housemates in each set qualify for the second round of the game.

The women took the first game, and Olivia and Jenni O made it to the next round. Email and Las ukay emerged as winners in the second set and proceeded to the second round.

For the second game, all four housemates have the chandelier toss die once. No participant can touch or move the dice at any point during the game.

After playing, Lukay and Olivia both had five, Jenni O had two, while Mmeli pulled six, thus becoming the first Big Brother Titans head of house.

He was also allowed to choose a woman for the scene and chose Ipeleng. The first home tail of the season is Khosi’s, and he will have to wear the tail as a reward until next week.

Pulling a surprise out of his sleeve, Big Brother told the housemates they have one hour to decide which fellow contestant they will put up for possible eviction.

The new HOH has veto power to save a nominated housemate and replace it with one that is not nominated.
