As you may have heard by now, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly appear to have broken up.
There was no official announcement, but Megan removed all photos of MGK from her Instagram page, then made a vague reference to “walking.[ing] away.”
Then she unfollowed the guy, followed Eminem (a longtime rival), and deleted the account.
So yeah, whatever happened to these two, it’s not good.
It may be a while before we know exactly what happened, but one comment Megan made may shed some light on the situation.
“He might be seeing Sophie,” the Instagram user wrote, prompting Fox to reply, “Maybe I’m with Sophie.”
“Sophie” here is Sophie Lloyd, who played guitar in MGK’s band on their most recent tour.
Sophie is a favorite among MGK fans, loved for her shearing skills and her no-nonsense attitude.
“I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old after listening to Led Zeppelin in the car with my dad,” a recent post on Sophie’s website reads.
“Because I’m a bit of an outcast, I have a lot of time to practice and it gives me an escape from reality, helps me overcome my anxiety and really gives me a sense of satisfaction.”
Sophie excitedly shared the news with her fans when she was chosen to join Kelly on her world tour last spring.
“The secret is out! I’ll be joining Machine Gun Kelly on the Mainstream Sellout Tour this year!!” Lloyd wrote on Instagram at the time.

In the months since the tour ended, Sophie has repeatedly gushed about her famous friends and collaborators.
“Touring with Machine Gun Kelly was amazing,” Lloyd told NME in November 2022.
“It was like one big family, and I felt comfortable and safe from the moment I left. I also liked how they used music to tell stories and portray messages.
So is there any truth to the rumor that MGK cheated on Megan with Sophie?
Well, he was definitely his type, but until now, it was all just speculation.
It looks like Megan and MGK are done, but we haven’t seen any cheating allegations or even an official announcement.
But these two love melodrama, so you can bet they’ll tell their conflicted stories in public.
