Sista Afia Worried Over Lack Of Collaborations Among Female Artistes | General Entertainment

Vocal gem Sista Afia has expressed concern over the lack of musical collaborations among Ghanaian female artistes.

According to the award-winning musician, the male duo do a great job of showcasing each other and also being able to do multi-artist collaborations.

But this scenario, he said, is rare among female artists, urging them to come together to form a united front to become a strong force in the music industry.

Sista Afia stated in an interview during her media tour that she has featured many female artistes over the past few years and wants others to do the same.

“I can understand the challenges that female musicians face when they want to follow a certain course, especially when it comes to signing a record label.

“A lot of things are often decided without knowing, but I think it’s time to say something about what happened.

“There will be more collaboration among ourselves to foster unity and make us a stronger force in the music industry,” he said.

Sista Afia added that she is eager to work with Becca, Akosua Agyapong, and Efya, among others, to showcase the immense talent of female musicians.

Sista Afia is currently promoting her new single “Carry Go,” which is accompanied by some exciting visuals available on YouTube.
