SHS students who were sent to Bawku who were troubled refused to report to school
Some students who have been sent to Senior High School in Bawku Municipality refused to accept admission due to conflict in the area.
The ongoing feud between chiefs in Bawku has left many people dead and others injured.
About 10 people have been reported killed in the recent disturbances.
Students sent to these areas began to decline the admissions offered.
In an interview with Citi News, the Upper East Regional Coordinator for the Free Senior High School Programme, Kofi Ayamga Anamboyine said that the students who will receive admission will be done through counselling.
Some Islamic Scholars and other Ghanaians have called on the natives to make peace by laying down their arms.
