Trump supporters are undeterred in their support of Donald Trump despite his promise to function as a dictator if he is re-elected to the presidency. They naively believe
Trump’s abuse of the law is a good thing for America. He is asking the Supreme Court to grant him and any president total immunity from prosecution for any action or crime
they commit during or after their presidency. Such immunity declares that a president is above the law and can ignore the Constitution, violate the separation of powers, use Russian-like propaganda instead of facts to inform the American public, profit off the presidency, break ties with our allies, share secrets with our enemies, and ignore funding granted by Congress for federal and state programs.
Because of their loyalty to Trump, his supporters may need to experience his autocratic agenda for America and learn how their lives would be affected if he became president. Although acting Trumpian is not who Joe Biden is, it could awaken the dignity and common sense of his supporters if Biden governed out of Trump’s dystopian playbook and imposed the horrible reality of how a narcissistic sociopathic president (from the opposing party) would negatively impact their lives. If this experiment would break the MAGA spell that millions of Americans are under and help them recommit to American democracy, I think the Democratic Party should support this drastic strategy
t’s a distasteful strategy for any Democrat to consider treating the Constitution or any American the way Trump does. However, these are dangerous times for America. BIDEN’S EXCEPTIONS TO TRUMP’S DICTATOR AGENDA WOULD BE THAT NO INNOCENT PERSON WOULD DIE ON HIS WATCH, AND NO ENEMY OF AMERICA WOULD BE GIVEN MILITARY INTELLIGENCE THAT WOULD COMPROMISE OUR NATIONAL SECURITY. Biden inflicting Trump’s agenda on Trump supporters might be the anecdote to the addiction they have to him.
President Biden should announce his plan to enact Trump’s dictator presidency immediately. It will be a clarifying reality check for Trump supporters who mistakenly think Trump’s plan to be a lifetime dictator will guarantee them safety and prosperity. Trump insiders say he believes his supporters are so stupid they would kill for him. They also mistakenly think he would welcome them at Mara-a-Lago. Why hasn’t he held an all-expense paid night at Mar-a-Lago for his ardent rural and evangelical supporters? Why hasn’t he provided evidence to them that he won the 2020 election? Why hasn’t he presented them with a healthcare plan that he says is superior to Obamacare? Why did he fail to keep his promise to rebuild the cities populated by his poorer supporters?
How would Trump supporters feel about President Biden implementing the type of agenda that Trump outlined in the TIME Magazine article, “ If He Wins”:

- Prosecute Tucker Carlson as a Russian asset

- GOVERNMENT REFORM LAWS
- Expand the Supreme Court
- Pass a law that puts term limits on all Republican judges
- Order all billionaires to return the amount of money they received from the Trump tax cuts
- Monitor the practices of all attorneys who defended Donald Trump
- Put gag orders on all members of the Republican Congress
- Monitor the political activity of conservative evangelicals in red states
- Monitor the cell phones of Republicans members of Congress to detect any contact with Russia
- Increase the taxes on Americans in red states that approved abortion bans
- Order the DOJ to indict former Attorney General Bill Barr for violating his oath of office.
- Open investigations into all Supreme Court Justices who have accusations of ethical violations filed against them.
- Delay infrastructure projects in red counties
- Lower food prices in blue states only
If Trump supporters like the idea of a president having complete immunity who can violate or eliminate the Constitution, they should welcome President Biden enacting such an agenda starting immediately. Hypocrisy must be eliminated from politics. If Trump supporters and acolytes want America to be an autocracy, they must also accept that a dictator could be elected from the Democratic Party.
