If Shannon Beador was “blindsided” by the split of John Jansen in November 2022, he will really be caught when he finds out that he has recently met another woman.
The day after the former The Real Housewives of Orange County couple confirmed the separation publicly, a photo of John and a mystery woman eating at The Quiet Woman, one of Shannon’s favorite restaurants, has hit the web.
“Yes, it is. It’s John, who recently broke up [with] Shannon less than a week ago, was seen on a date at The Quiet Woman last night. The restaurant is one that Shannon frequents,” Cheers and Cocktails on Instagram shared with readers on January 14, together with a pic of John and a blonde woman.
Last week, when Shannon opened up about her split from John, she told PEOPLE that she “never loved anyone. [her] live” and accused John of surprising her with a breakup just a week after production ended RHOC season 17. Meanwhile, also speaking for people, John said to wait until the filming is over to call it quits because he does not want to humiliate him.
“The last thing I wanted to do was hurt Shannon, but I think I did the right thing for both of us,” he said. “There’s no point in being together if you don’t trust me.”
The next day, Shannon showed up Jeff Lewis‘ radio show, where he further discussed the breakup, stating that he had created a touching scene for the last episode of RHOC.
“It’s good … I got teary-eyed with the words he said and I thought, ‘We’ll get there,'” he admitted.
“Right now he’s not specific, but from what I remember, he said he wanted to take the relationship to the next level, which for me, I think engagement,” Jeff replied. “Did you think the same thing at the time?”
“I just thought, whatever the next step is, we’ll take it… So for that reason, that’s why I felt blindsided,” Shannon explained.
After the split, Shannon’s on-again, off-again friend and co-star, Vicki Gunvalsonaccused John of being a narcissist and compared him to his ex, Steve Lodgewho left him for a younger woman, Janis Caplanwho then got married in September 2021.
“These people use women like Shannon [and] I am for my own benefit. Narcissists,” he said.
Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 is expected to start airing on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
