Shania Twain got candid about the painful time in his life – the moment he found out his ex-husband cheated on him with his best friend!
For those who don’t know, the country music world was rocked in 2008 when the 57-year-old singer found his ex and longtime collaborator. Robert “Mutt” Lange was cheating on him with a (now-former) close pal Marie-Anne Thiebaud. Seriously, grandma??? That’s terrible. Shania was devastated by infidelity and divorced the record producer after 17 years of marriage. Now, the singer is opening up about her ordeal fifteen years later.

During the look at Chair Expert podcast there, two co-hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman connection that they were “too nervous” to talk about the infamous scandal. However, Shania insists that she is not “ashamed[ed]” by that. In fact, he gave her some tea, suggesting that Robert and Marie-Anne are still together. wow! According to Shania, the only time she and her ex-husband talk to each other is when they talk about their 21-year-old son. fish. He said:

In the podcast episode, Dax joked that his ex was playing “musical chairs” by changing partners – but Shania explained that she “didn’t know Fréd very well” before the cheating scandal. As the country music star recalled, “it was a wonderful surprise” for him to witness “how gracefully and gracefully he suffered the same pain.” For her part, Shania said she felt “fragile” at being betrayed, while the 52-year-old businessman appeared “thoughtful” at the time:
“Fréd is really smart. He’s one of the smartest people I know, [and] he didn’t know [about the affair] either. That helps me feel better.
