Melissa Gorga “really good” with not being a bridesmaid Theresa Judge and Luis Ruelas‘ August 2022 wedding is just a few months away for him and his wife Joe Gorga infamously skip the show.
The sneak peek The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 premiere, Melissa is seen planning an ’80s-themed roller skating event for the cast when Joe questions her about whether she will invite her sister-in-law after feuding a lot with her in the season 12 reunion.
“You invited Teresa?” Joe asked in a clip shared by Bravo.
“Yeah, I don’t want to leave anyone out, you know?” replied Melissa. Joe then warns him, “You’re left out.”
After a scene flashes back to the season 12 Reunion, where Melissa called out Teresa for lying and claiming she was all about the family, Melissa admitted that she felt Teresa’s failure to include her in her wedding made a big statement.
“Choosing one person, the only wife of your brother, and saying, ‘I’m going to eliminate you,’ is a big ‘F-ck you,'” he told the camera in the confessional.
Meanwhile, Joe pointed out that Teresa “showed how she really felt about the two of us” at the reunion.
“I understand. So I texted her that day and said, ‘I’m fine at the party. I don’t want to be angry [Jennifer Aydin]I don’t want you to be angry [Margaret Josephs]. Everything is fine,'” Melissa explained.
“And he didn’t answer you,” Joe noted.
“I know,” Melissa replied.
In the leaked text Melissa sent to Teresa in March 2022, she told her husband’s sister that she didn’t want to hold each other accountable for her friends’ behavior.
“I’m just telling you, I’m really okay with not being at the wedding. I don’t want to bring it back into our family,” Melissa wrote. “Go ahead, I hope you are all well. I’m not going to be mad at you for what Jennifer did and you shouldn’t be mad at Margaret for what she did. Good night.”
As RHONJ sneak peek continues, Melissa told that she was invited to Teresa’s 50th birthday – a month after her text was not answered.
“Suddenly I got a text, inviting us to celebrate Teresa’s 50th birthday on an island with ‘those closest to her.’ really? I haven’t heard from you in two months. I don’t think so,” he shared.
Then, in the second leaked text, Melissa’s response to the invitation appeared.
“Teresa, I texted you driving home from the reunion and you never answered until now,” she wrote.
