A total of 22 former players from Southeastern Conference institutions are currently on the active rosters of the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, two National Football League teams that will be in Super Bowl LVII on February 12. These numbers represent players on the active roster. only and does not include injured reserve or practice squad players. Eight additional former players are on the practice squad/injured reserve for the remaining two teams, bringing the total number of former SEC players represented to 30.

This year’s Super Bowl will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi State lead the SEC with four former players represented in the Super Bowl.

Nine SEC schools will have at least one former player represented in the Super Bowl.

Representatives from SEC institutions have been named Super Bowl MVP on five occasions since 2006.
