Scheana Shay and Rachel Lewis was scheduled to be in court on Tuesday to determine whether to make Raquel’s temporary restraining order against Scheana permanent — but only one showed up.
The day after Raquel “becomes” Scheana with a document that has “no legal meaning” in it Vanderpump Rules Reunion, and allegedly asked the court to take the hearing off the calendar, Scheana’s lawyer confirmed that the order had been dismissed – but admitted that Scheana had put his hands on her co-star.
“This is not reality TV. This is the real world and Rachel’s actions have real consequences. Rachel filed a false police report, a false medical report, and a frivolous petition for a restraining order,” Scheana’s attorney, Neama Rahmanitoward Reality Blurb, via email, on March 29. “Scheana didn’t punch Rachel. Rachel didn’t get a black eye. Scheana pushes Rachel away but only after Rachel grabs her wrist, and Rachel doesn’t get a concussion.
According to Neama, Raquel decided not to appear in court after learning that she had no case against Scheana.
“We are ready to expose Rachel’s lies, but she has to live knowing that she betrayed her two best friends: Scheana and [Ariana Madix],” continued with a nod to Raquel’s relationship with Ariana’s ex, Tom Sandoval. “Instead of accepting responsibility for her actions, Rachel shamefully tried to blame our justice system to blame Scheana. We are happy that Scheana has now been vindicated.
Meanwhile, according to an insider close to Raquel, the Pump Rules The cast member stands by her accusations, although she did not attend the court.
“Scheana’s lawyer has been informed by email that Raquel is not moving forward with the RO. The court has been informed by Raquel’s counsel that she will not participate and will not move forward and has filed the documents requested by the clerk of court that are stamped as accepted,” a source close to Raquel told Radar Online on March 29. “If Scheana’s lawyer chooses the grandstand for the press that is his prerogative but he already knows that Raquel is not coming forward.
“But Raquel is standing by her initial claim that Scheana punched her in the face backed up by photos of bruised browbones and cut eyebrows — not the dark circles Scheana was trying to get rid of,” the insider added.
As Pump Rules fans may have heard, Raquel accused Scheana of attacking her in New York City, where she appeared in Watch What Happens Live together, after learning he had been involved in a month-long relationship with Sandoval.
