Scheana Shay put Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s polite manners in the explosion during the latest episode of Lala Kentrunghis podcast.
When he and Lala discuss their friendship with a couple named Will and Elaine Ratnerwho has known Scheana for about two years, Lala remembers a recent gala she attended at the couple’s Newport Beach home as Vanderpump Rules cast members shaded Jax and Brittany for coming late and leaving early before declaring disrespect that doesn’t end there.
“There is a couple Will, and Elaine, who are rich, honey, and also kind and sweet and wonderful people. [Scheana], you were kind enough to invite me to this group. And they also have a baby, the age of Ocean and Summer, or about the same age,” Lala explained in the January 3 episode of Give them Lala.
She then revealed that while attending Will and Elaine’s gala, Brittany was “done” by 9:15 and wanted to go home.
“Remember, he was an hour late and now it’s only two hours later,” Scheana said.
“That’s definitely not a good move,” Lala agreed.
However, since her friend wanted to leave, Lala also agreed to leave early, to which Scheana responded rudely.
“Scheana goes, ‘What are you doing?’ I was like ‘We’re getting cozy. I think we’re going.’ Then I saw that he was really tired,” said Lala.
According to Scheana, it was obvious that Jax and Brittany weren’t at the party because there were only 100 people at the show, and she felt that the snub was an insult to her friends. That said, he admitted that Brittany may have felt “out of place” after someone “accidentally bumped into her.”
“[But] I know how much time and money and effort Will and Elaine have put into this gala. He was so kind and generous to open his house to my friends,” Scheana said, adding that the couple took their friends on yachts and dinner parties.
“In the Halloween special, Jax didn’t show up because he was drunk when he hosted a Halloween party the night before and Will and Elaine drove from Newport to Valley Village to attend,” Scheana said. “He went to bed early, was rude to everyone, like, ‘Get out of my house, I’m having a party.’ And Will and Elaine felt uncomfortable.
Although Will and Elaine found Jax to be a “terrible host”, invited them over and then kicked everyone out, they still included him in an intimate sit-down dinner the next day, which blew off.
“Jax just didn’t show up,” Scheana recalled. “[And] Brit almost turned around when he drove there. He was like, ‘I have anxiety. I drove alone with Cruz. It’s too far. I just wanted to turn around. Like, this Jax …’ And I was like ‘No, no. I can’t introduce my friends to this group, and then they just don’t show up.’”
Eventually, Brittany arrived on the show with her 1-year-old son Cruz and Jax was absent but soon, her ex was too. Pump Rules co-star Christian Doute.
“After the food was over, Brittany was like, ‘Okay, I’ll take Cruz home.’ Kristen was like ‘Okay, we’ll go.’ And Elaine was like, ‘Cool. Thanks for using me for food,'” Scheana revealed. “Everybody just came to eat and left.”
“And after Jax didn’t show up, she had the nerve, after the veneer surgery, to still ask Will if she could stay at his house to recover because she was in Newport Beach,” Scheana said, noting that Elaine almost did. kicked out.
But at the end of the day, as Scheana explained, “I don’t want them to think all my friends just show up to eat food or just show up to dress up, take some pictures, and bounce.”
