Savannah Chrisley unhappy with his mother’s “inhuman” condition, Julie Chrisley50, has met with seven years in prison at the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Unlock With Savannah Chrisleywho is 25 years old Chrisley knows best star claimed the facility had no heating or air conditioning and accused the staff of treating service dogs better than prisoners before teasing her potential family back to reality television.
“My mom is in a facility that doesn’t have air, but there are still service dogs for prisons that are in heated and cooled buildings because it’s inhumane to not have air,” Savannah told guests. Britney Ruby Miller, via Radar Online. “I read the executive order that Biden signed that said all federal prisoners should be housed in environmentally friendly facilities and I was like, ‘Okay, that’s the exact opposite.'”
But in response to Savannah’s claim, the Federal Bureau of Prisons assured Radar Online that conditions for Julie and the other inmates are “appropriate.”
“For reasons of privacy, security, and safety, we do not release information about confinement conditions for inmates or groups of inmates,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “However, we can point out that the Bureau of Prisons institution is accredited by the American Correctional Association. The ACA standards cover environmental conditions, including temperature and air quality… [and] discuss the temperatures in the living room and work room that are suitable for summer and winter.
According to Savannah, seeing her parents behind bars was strange, and especially “weird” because of her father. Todd Chrisleygray hair.
“It’s really strange to see him with gray hair. Like, it’s so weird,” he told Britney. “She’s always used some color over the years, and now seeing her with gray hair, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, this is so weird.'”
As fans of the Chrisley family know, Julie and Todd, 53, entered prison on January 17 to begin a combined 19-year prison sentence, 12 of which includes Todd, who is currently incarcerated at FPC Pensacola in Florida.
During another episode of Unlock With Savannah Chrisleywhen he was talking to his 10-year-old niece Chloe Chrisley and grandmother Miss Faye78, Savannah told listeners they will soon see the family’s “new normal” firsthand and confirmed that he has “talked to some production companies” about the new show.
“We’re going to touch on where we are now, Mom and Dad are gone, how we deal with it, how we deal with it,” he said, via Page Six . “Also, having two children and we all run to make sure that they have what they need emotionally, psychologically, physically, everything, I think there is also a level of humor.”
Savannah, who was given custody of Chloe and her sister Grayson Chrisley16, said that about the potential new series, the episodes “will be heartwarming”.
“It will break your heart,” he shared, adding that fans will also “laugh”.
“I’m ready to walk down the highway anytime…I’m ready,” Nanny Faye shared. “We’d say ‘Well look at these Bounce Back Chrisleys.'”
After Julie and Todd’s sentencing last year, NBC Universal canceled it Chrisley knows best and spinoffs, Grow Up Chrisley. However, USA Network aired a shortened version of the 10th and final season in 2023.
