Sarah Huckabee Sanders Refuses To Tell Fox News Host If She’ll Endorse Donald Trump

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) appears to be keeping her options open ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“My focus right now is on 2022, winning the election in November, preparing for the transition and getting ready to run for office like I did last week,” Sanders said after host Shannon Bream asked if he would endorse Trump. “I love the president. I have a good relationship with him. I know our country would be better off if he was in office now than Joe Biden. But right now my focus is not 2024.

Asked again when he might make a decision on an endorsement, Sanders backed down twice.

“My focus is not on 2024,” Sanders said. “This is what we can say in this legislative session. I’m not going to set any timeline. I’m not focused on everything, but focus on what we can do to affect change and implement the promises made during the campaign season in Arkansas.

After Sanders was sworn in, becoming the first woman to lead Arkansas, Trump congratulated her on his social media platform, saying she was “a great person and will be an amazing Governor.”
