Sarah Herron has opened up about her most personal and heartbreaking news.
On Wednesday, the Bachelor alum told her Instagram followers that she and her fiance Dylan’s son, Oliver, had passed away a few days earlier.
“On January 28th, at 24 weeks, our beautiful son Oliver Brown was born,” Herron began in the caption.
“He died in his father’s arms shortly after.”

Along with this heartbreaking revelation, Ing touching montage that includes the original image of her holding the baby to her chest while Dylan kisses her forehead.
“There are no words for the magnitude of the loss and pain we are experiencing,” he added in the post. “It’s beautiful and tragic at the same time. He has his father’s nose and mouth and long fingers.
Sharing some of baby Oliver’s best attributes, Herron continued:
“He has his father’s nose and mouth and long fingers…
“Oliver, our IVF miracle defied many odds and fought many milestones here, but a higher power still has other plans for the three of us.”

Herron appeared on Sean Lowe’s season of The Bachelor in 2013, has been engaged to Dylan since 2021 and announced her pregnancy last September.
Yes, she wrote, the time she carried Oliver was “short,” but she was “grateful” for the time she was pregnant.
“He has taught us a lot about the integrity of life, love and death. Oliver filled our home and our hearts with love and most importantly, optimism,” said Herron.
“The stars aligned to create Baby Oliver with a deeper and greater purpose than we will ever know.
His body is small, but his legacy will be larger than life for us.

Herron also recalls some of the precious memories she shared with Oliver when she was expecting, including mornings with her dog, Rio.
“Oliver swam with sea turtles, he stayed with me while I recovered from a broken knee, and he loved his dad’s cooking,” she said.
“Most of all, Oliver loves the morning routine of putting his heart with his brother, Rio, in my lap.”

The former reality star finished with a reminder that she will always son’s treasure.
“While our hearts are broken beyond comprehension, we are comforted knowing that our son’s soul knows only love and will not suffer in a body that was not built for this life,” he said.
“We will never understand the cruelty of it all, but through the darkness, Oliver remains the light. We love you so much, baby boy. You will never change. You are perfect and amazing.”
