Sanitary pads which use to sell at GH¢2.50 now GH¢20 under Nana Addo — Asiedu Nketia

According to him, the economy overseen by Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia has dwindled causing severe economic hardship and resulting in high cost of living.

He stated that a bag of cement which sold for GH¢27 in December 2016 is now sold for GH¢90.

He said: “Also, a bag of cement which was sold at GH¢27 in December 2016 is now selling at GH¢90 and last but not least, sanitary pads used to sell at an average of GH¢2.50 in December. 2016 are now selling GH¢20.”

“When all is said and done, this is a true Nation State. This is what we feel when we go to the market. This is what we feel in our pockets,” he said.

Nketia popularly known as the Common Mosquito said the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has a lot of resources to work with but it is failing.

He also accused the NPP of lying to Ghanaians that part of the government’s borrowed funds were injected into road construction.

He added that only 1.6 percent of over GH¢ 820 billion has been spent on road construction in the country.
