It’s been a tough few weeks for star Ryan Edwards.

Then again, it’s only a matter of a few weeks in your ex’s life Teenage Mother stars may be described as harsh.

Ryan was jailed twice in less than a month, first for harassing his estranged wife, Mackenzie Standifer, and then for violating her restraining order.

She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, insisting that she and Ryan had reached a point to resolve their differences and save their marriage.

Mackenzie listed the couple’s separation date as January 2023, noting that at some point during that month Ryan “became rude and violent.”

She also noted that she filed for protection against Ryan when he “became violent with her in front of the minors.”

The Standifer star also cited Ryan’s “history of substance abuse” as one of the driving forces behind their marriage’s dissolution.

And in the biggest bombshell of all, Mackenzie revealed that after she received a restraining order against Ryan, she destroyed her house so badly that, temporarily, at least, it was uninhabitable.

For that reason, her attorney said, Edwards should be denied all parental rights.

“Following the service of the Order of Protection against the Defendant, he destroyed the residence to the extent that it was uninhabitable,” the divorce decree said.

“In light of the defendant’s criminal and threatening behavior, criminal history and substance abuse, the Plaintiff fears for the safety and well-being of the child in his presence,” it continued.

“For these reasons, the Defendant’s parenting time must be suspended until further Order of the Court.”

From there, Mackenzie’s attorney asked for a temporary restraining order to prevent Ryan from “removing children from custody or from school or daycare providers until further order from the court.”

Obviously, Ryan will have a chance to fight for parental rights when he and Mackenzie finally go to court, but he will be denied access to his two minors until that day.

We will gain more access to this developing story as new information becomes available.
