Ryan Edwards just finished a wild and crazy week in wild and crazy fashion.
As of this writing, former Teen Mom cast members are behind bars.
Edwards was arrested Friday and charged with violating a protective order after several social media posts accused his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, of infidelity.
Mackenzie, now it seems, is the one who reported her husband to the authorities.
On Thursday, Edwards shared a topless photo of Mackenzie, calling her a “boneless whore” in the caption and adding:
“He takes your money and sleeps with whatever he sees. But he has to have a wife [sic]. Oh God, it’s a joke. It’s really sad.”
According to In Touch Weekly, Mackenzie called the police on her husband shortly after Ryan was charged with violating the protection order.
they also told authorities that Ryan had contacted her father, Bob Standifer, who violated another protective order.
At the end of January, Edwards first went public with these cheating claims, telling his social media followers that he wanted a divorce.
But then canceled a few days later.
Then he posted revenge porn and was arrested.
Before his arrest, Edwards – who has struggled with drug addiction for years and has been in and out of rehab – was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and “two bags of suspected narcotics.”
“During today’s conversation with Mackenzie, it was discovered that Ryan had violated the Order of Protection by contacting his father on Thursday and advising Mackenzie to let him know that he would be home that same day to collect his belongings,” the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office said. said in a press release today.
“During their investigation into the violation of the Order of Protection, HCSO deputies learned that Ryan had an active warrant for harassment filed by the Chattanooga Police Department.
“Mackenzie is listed as a victim in the incident.
“The offer was taken on February 8, 2023.”
Back on January 29, Edwards wrote online
“We can’t get here soon enough tomorrow! Do you know what happens when you sleep with a dog? … wait look who I’m talking about.
“And then blaming my addiction for divorce is the right thing to do [sic].”
Mackenzie, for her part, has deleted almost all photos featuring Ryan from her Instagram account … and removed the word “husband” from her Instagram bio as well.
To be specific, Edwards faces three charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Harassment.
A hearing has been set for March 30; and it is unclear at this time whether Edwards will remain behind bars until then.
Before his arrest, Edwards spoke to The Sun and made the following allegations:
“I always feel sorry for my children. I think they should see us together and make it up…
“He’s angry because the image will never be the same. That’s how it looks.”
Edwards also revealed that he is “ready” for a divorce and wants to “find a good woman.”
First, though, he might have to find some bail money.
