As you may have heard, Lisa Marie Presley died on Thursday after suffering a heart attack. His mother Priscilla Presley confirmed the tragic news for people in a moving statement, he said:
“With a heavy heart, I have to share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the strongest and most loving woman I know. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this deep loss. Thank you for love and prayers.There will be no more comments at this time.
We can’t imagine the pain Priscilla must be feeling, especially since a source has revealed that the two have ended their relationship after many years.

according to Sun there, the 54-year-old singer-songwriter reconneced with the 77-year-old after his 27-year-old son. Ben Keough died of suicide in July 2020. Insiders say that amid the turmoil of Lisa Marie’s marriage to Michael Lockwood they grow:
“Lisa Marie had a very difficult relationship with Priscilla due to the problems and breakdown of her marriage with Lockwood, but they became close again after Ben’s death and Priscilla supported her as much as she could.”
No doubt Lisa will need all the love and support she can get after losing her son. We’re glad the two women were able to put aside their differences and be together during this difficult time.
But what started the rift in the first place? Sun The source explains that things became rocky between Priscilla and Lisa when she filed for divorce from her fourth husband in 2016 after 10 years of marriage. But before that, there is tension between Lisa and Priscilla as her mother finally supports Michael in the middle of the breakup! Source for Sun revealed:
“During Lisa Marie’s divorce with Lockwood, Priscilla stood by her which caused friction between them. Priscilla was consoled by her friends as her relationship with Lisa fell apart and she was at a loss as to what to do at that time.
Their relationship continued to fall apart when Priscilla was caught talking about the feud during a meeting with her ex So You Think You Can Dance judge Nigel Lythgoe at Beverly Hills Hotel in 2017.
But as they say, Lisa and Priscilla are finally able to mend fences three years later – under tragic circumstances. So, it’s very sad.
