Robyn Dixon took it for her and Gizelle Bryant‘s podcast is there to show what’s really going down between now-husbands John Dixon and the woman who claims to be his wife.
After Juan was accused of having a relationship with a woman, the The Real Housewives of Potomac cast members confirmed their interaction, explained what credit card was used to pay for her hotel room, and admitted having a lingering problem, which resulted in a delayed wedding, as a result of the scandal.
“I really hate that I’m talking about this because I don’t like to draw attention to negative situations, but I said I will,” Robyn said on the Jan. 30 episode. Just Shadytitled “Rumor Has It…”
According to Robyn, Juan has been communicating with a woman who recently exploded. However, the woman’s account of the situation, which began in late 2020, is not 100 percent accurate.
“The woman reached out to him through Instagram, told her that she loves Robyn and Gizelle on the show and that she loves us and that she’s handsome… So, it’s kind of silly, which you shouldn’t do but… a lot of people like attention, he’s entertaining. He’s in a relationship with her,” said Robyn, denying Juan ever dated her.
“This is not his girlfriend. He is not dating this woman. He communicates with her on Instagram and maybe over text,” Robyn said.
While the woman was initially unable to travel to Maryland from Canada due to the country’s travel restrictions, she eventually ended up there, claiming to Juan that she was visiting a Baltimore Ravens player.
“He was like, ‘I’m coming to Maryland.’ And he was like, ‘Whatever.’ Because he didn’t ask her to come and you’re dating a Baltimore Ravens player. He didn’t ask her to come. He didn’t entertain her. He didn’t pay for her flight. I actually noticed, when he sent her the hotel receipt and all that, she also sent her airline information. and the credit card is not Juan’s credit card,” Robyn continued her conversation.
But when it comes to the woman’s hotel receipt, Robyn admits that Juan paid for her room, forcing her to do so only after she claimed her wallet was stolen at the casino.
“She said she felt bad and she went to the hotel, put her debit card in, and left. And she was like, ‘Oh you’re leaving? You’re not going to spend time…?’ He told me he wanted to get his hair done, he wanted to go to Western Union. He had all these places he asked to pick him up. Meanwhile, he was confused because he was like, ‘Aren’t you here to see the Baltimore Ravens players?’ “Robyn remembered.
Because Juan felt uncomfortable with the woman, he finally asked a friend to invite him.
“When I found out about it and Juan explained himself, I was like, ‘That’s crazy, but it’s okay. That’s what happened.’ But people said, ‘Juan is a sex trafficker because he sent his friend.’ No. He was not dating a girl. He came alone … So his friend helped,” he explained. “From what I understand, he got it. [But] what about his friend, who is not related to Juan.
Looking at her own interactions with the woman, Robyn said she contacted her, via email, in November 2021.
“He sent me an email in November 2021, emailed me this hotel receipt, and I replied ‘hi’ because I always greet people. ‘Hello. Thank you for the information. Take care,'” he shared, never asking to keep the woman from going public.
“I hope you go public because people like to have a moment … especially when they start texting Juan, asking for money,” Robyn said. “He sent a request for $4,000 in cash … He’ll listen too Just Shady and post the stuff I talk about on the podcast.
“He was angry. She’s bitter because she didn’t want him,” added Robyn. “Everything she wanted didn’t happen. yes already. Did Juan make a mistake when communicating with this woman? Absolutely. Abso-f-cking-lutely. And do we handle it, do we talk about it, do we deal with it? Abso-f-cking-lutely.”
Although Juan’s interaction with the woman was a “big bump” in the relationship and Robyn’s, the RHOP cast members confirmed the drama has been “handled” – after a bit of a delay in their nuptials.
“The wedding situation is kind of put on the back burner because we have some sh-t to work out,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Gizelle said she also received a DM from the woman.
“I was like, ‘What the F? Juan!’ I kinda wanted to punch him in the face… because no one needs this but I’m happy y’all can it out,” he told Robyn.
“We’re done,” Robyn replied. “He’s learned his lesson. He’s just getting better. And like I said, he needs attention. He’s a poor person who needs attention.”
When Gizelle then asks if Robyn is giving Juan the attention he needs, Robyn hesitates.
“That’s part of what you have to do as a couple … They get the attention but I say, ‘Okay, what else do you do to get the attention you want?’ So it’s like a relationship issue that we have to deal with,” Robyn said. “They need attention and I like being on my own. But that would be my problem with anyone.
According to Robyn, she knows Juan’s interaction with the woman will be mentioned in the show’s seventh season.
“I just knew it was going to come out and I wasn’t going to dance at all,” she shared. “I would say, ‘I know. We’ve dealt with it. We’ve talked about it. It’s been a problem in our relationship and we’ve worked through it and here we are.’ Criticism and hate, that’s what makes us strong. That’s what brings us together.
Whether that topic will be discussed in season eight, Robyn added. “If we want to go into season eight talking about it, we’re going to talk about it. I don’t care. I’m not running away from it. If they ask me to talk to them on camera… They might ask me to kick a rock – or talk. But I will talk about it.
“This situation will not destroy our family,” he added.
