Richie Mensah has denied rumors that Kidi suffered a stroke, calling it clickbait
The boss of Lynx Hiburan, Richie Mensah has pushed back hard against the artist’s new claims that Kidi has suffered a stroke, saying he was just “click bait”.
In a tweet on his Twitter account on Thursday, the artiste’s producer and manager, asked fans of this year’s 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste to ignore rumors on social media.
“KiDi has not had a stroke. Ignore rumors and click bait,” he tweeted.

A source close to the artist also threw the issue, clarifying “He’s not well but it’s not stoke or anything serious, he just needs some rest”
Another Lynx insider shared with Ghanaian blogger, Sel The Bomb on Snapchat that Kidi is taking a break from social media and is recovering.
Remember that “touch” singer announced on February 22nd that he was canceling his North American tour due to health issues.
In a statement on his verified social media account, the artist said: “Hi my love, it is with a very heavy heart that I announce the postponement of the Golden Boy Tour in North America. I know how incredibly disappointing this news is for many. It is with great joy that we express to see me on this tour is exciting and I look forward to this experience together.
I had to make this decision to postpone the tour due to health issues and I want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. A tour of this magnitude and the level of commitment it involves can put you at greater risk of harming your health.
I want to make sure that every time we meet on tour, it will be an experience worth everything that has been given to me as an artist and I can only do that if I am in better health than I am now. Sorry to all the fans and Duke Concept. Thank you for your incredible support. I love you all so much for everything you have given me and continue to give me.
