Heather GayBlack eyes, and how they stay, is the storyline fans have been watching for weeks in the third season that just aired. Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And now, even after the two-part reunion, no one is sure what happened – including Heather.
During a series of recent interviews, Heather opened up about what made her “very uncomfortable” during the season, discussed the black eye “theory,” and talked about her current relationship with her co-stars, as well as her thoughts on the future. season four and Mary Kosbyreturn potential.
“I’ve been explaining the black eye since the day I got it as much as possible… I woke up with a black eye, I have a theory that I hit the counter. Then everyone told me that they would have footage of it happening and that footage would show how it happened, Heather told TV Deets last month. “I thought I was on television and would reveal myself. But I never did.”
According to Heather, she got “very uncomfortable” with the idea that a narrative was being created that she had no control over.
“It felt like he was creating a narrative that I was connected to but I had no memory of,” he said. “I was afraid to say I had no memory because I thought he might say something. So I played coy and said I remembered the part because I had a theory and other people had their theories, but it just didn’t play out on television.
Looking back, Heather said she was “surprised” by the audience’s reaction to the injury.
“I don’t know what will change in the end because there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. You know, you wake up on the cast trip surrounded by cameras with black eyes,” he told Life & Style. “There are a lot of questions, but I can’t – I can’t say much about it until the reunion and everything is over.”
“It’s reality television, the one thing you don’t want to talk about, everyone’s going to talk about it,” Heather said. “I try to stay offline because I only focus on the good and it can be paralyzing when the tide isn’t going. It’s better to ignore it and focus on what still supports you.
Also in an interview with TV Deets, Heather said that after the conclusion of ROSLC season three, he is ready for some fresh meat.
“I always say more nuts in the trail mix. It makes it better for everyone,” he explained about potential newbies, stating that he likes Angie Harrington to count snowflakes for the fourth season.
“He and I get back together peripherally and he’s really fun on camera. He’s really cute and funny and he’s my friend, so I’m going to support him,” Heather said.
Heather is also good with that Meredith Marcus and claims she and Lisa Barlow have no “beef”.
“I’m closest to Meredith in the whole cast… She’s the kind of friend you want to have and she’s the kind of friend you hang your hat on,” she gushed.
As for non-friends in the cast, Heather confirmed that she has taken a step back from the relationship with Mr. ShahHe said that after Jen pleaded guilty, everything “completely changed” in their friendship.
“I’m just waiting for them to make restitution to the victims and just see that it’s done because a lot of people have come out that are hard to hear,” she said. “I can only think of the victims at this time and give them no space.”
And when it comes Whitney Roseit was equally tense, especially after Whitney accused Heather of re-following her on Instagram, just after Jen’s punishment.
“I don’t follow Whitney on Instagram! I feel so small and dumb that she’s making a deal,” Heather said.
She then apparently shaded her cousin to put fame ahead of friendship.
“I think Whitney really enjoys being a Housewife and she’s going to work hard to be a Housewife. My friendship with her is not a priority, so I look forward to her being a Housewife,” Heather said.
Also during the interview, Heather talked about Maryam’s potential return, saying that she could not “confirm or deny” whether it would happen quite yet.
“I know he’s talked to Meredith enough and she’s Mary Cosby and she’s not going to be in Salt Lake City, but I haven’t talked to her yet,” Heather said.
