During season three, Heather gave conflicting stories about her injuries, at one point claiming she knew what happened – before claiming she couldn’t remember.

“I’m black,” the author said in the reunion recording. “I don’t know how that happened.”

He continued, “I woke up scared. My phone was plugged in, I was in my pajamas.” The star added that she was “afraid” her cast members would “rewrite the narrative” if they found out she couldn’t remember.

“When the production came to the room, I told them, I said, ‘I have no idea, I have no memory,'” said Heather. “And then it got out of control, and I’m responsible, and I’m sorry. It was scary.”

That morning, Heather immediately texted Jen, asking her to help come up with a “good cover story.”

“I don’t want to get anyone in trouble, Jen,” Heather wrote on the show. “That’s why I need you to help me figure out if anyone wants to talk about what happened last night.”
