Rulla Pontarelli is shutting down the idea that she and her husband, Brian Pontarelli, recently engaged in an “awkward” public dinner.
Amid Brian’s ongoing drama with his alleged mistress, Beth Walker, whom he is currently suing for breach of contract, the 46-year-old Real Housewives of Rhode Island star came across a series of photos of herself and Brian, 49, which came along with a suggestion from a fan, who alleged that things were “awkward and off” between them.
“Had a Rulla and Brian sighting here in little rhody last night for dinner. Sat behind them! The entire interaction seemed very awkward and off, not like in a relationship at all! Also left in two different cars, weirdddddd,” the fan told All About TRH, who shared the images and information on Instagram on June 3.
“Rulla and Brian Appear United At Dinner Yesterday,” the outlet wrote in a caption.
After the post was shared, Rulla weighed in, refuting the fan’s account.
“Looking for attention here, we see? That’s par for the course. We were happy and toasting our drinks and conversing privately. Clearly you didn’t want to capture the REALITY,” she stated. “We are busy people. We each made time for a bite and came from separate meetings. I don’t know what makes arriving and leaving in separate cars unusual when people are coming from two different places and have to carry on with their days thereafter. Some of us have multiple businesses and obligations where others don’t.”
“Let’s be nice and stop the bullsh*t. It is clear that you are trying to stir the pot to get a few likes and comments. Find another hobby and don’t lie,” she added.
Rulla then clarified that she was upset with the fan, not the Instagram account who shared the post.
“We are not blaming you for sharing this post. It’s the person who made the comment and sent it to you along with a few photos. We don’t have anything against you ladies,” she clarified.
