Mia Thornton took to her Instagram story recently to defend herself against some claims Real Housewives of Potomac.
After being accused of lying about her age, plastic surgery, and business, Mia shared several posts with her fans and followers where she proved her age and status as a business owner before also confirming what she had done and slamming her ex-BFF. Jacqueline Blake as an “obsession.”
“Of course judge me in a [two-second] editing. Share your character,” Mia began on February 3 when she shared a picture of someone asking, “Didn’t you start the show by lying about your age?”
“No, I never ‘GOO’ about my age. Next question?” Mia answered, along with her Maryland Driver’s License, which confirmed she was 38.
Others want to know, “How many facial surgeries have you had? Be honest!”
“Lip. Botox. [Four] Boobs… I even have my password [nose] worked,” explained Mia.
Mia then shared a message she had previously posted on Twitter in which she directed Jacqueline, offering advice RHOP season seven “friends” became obsessed with him after he gained fame in the picture.
“Well, I’ve known him since I was 15. We went years without talking to each other but as soon as I started receiving ‘fame’ he became obsessed. Oh and also for the record. I lived with him for a few months, until he got jealous and caused his parents to kick him out me,” said Mia.
As for Mia’s business, which includes Massage Envy Spas and The Joint Chiropractic, she appears to confirm that she is the owner of Massage Envy Spas with a picture listing the business as a limited liability company established in September 2017.
In her picture, Mia’s husband Gordon Thornton is listed as chief executive officer (CEO) because he is listed as chief operating officer (COO), as well as agents and administrative members.
In the fifth post shared on her Instagram Story, Mia defended her decision to speak out.
“Man, why are you posting your personal business on social media? Stop pleasing people, why give a [damn] about what other people think??” a fan asked.
“I’m not. Unfortunately, my investors. So scroll down and write it down,” Mia replied.
Then, in some additional notes, Mia said, “My friendship always comes first. Being that girl, I will not allow anyone or anything to take it from me. Period,” and, “Reputation + Integrity is how I have made it far. And I sure don’t come this far for fortune or fame to ruin my name.
“Any questions?” he finished.
