Candiace Dillard Bassett apparently clapped back on Gizelle Bryant follows the “colorism conversation” in the latest reunion episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. The 36-year-old called it a “bad tone,” as well as the energy coming from a certain direction on the set, hinting that he couldn’t “show everything” that was going on.
During the recording, Candiace recounts her personal experiences with color. After that, Gizelle seemed confused by the question of some aspects of the conversation.
After the episode aired, Candiace took to Twitter and apparently clapped back at Gizelle.
“The commitment to misunderstanding me in the colorism conversation of the most fair people has done nothing but fuel the fire,” Candiace wrote on February 26.
“My example has been clearly communicated.”

In the comments, Candiace responded to a fan, @kevinbobby, who said, “It’s really annoying to see this woman have such a rude tone asking you in an attempt to suppress your feelings instead of trying to understand.”
Candiace agrees, “That’s a really bad tone. The energy in the room coming from that direction is irritation and discomfort.
He also seemed to address something that was not shown in the episode.
“I wish I could show you everything,” Candiace said. “It’s very telling.”
