Chris Bassett throwing shade at Gizelle Bryant on Twitter during the new episode of Sunday night Real Housewives of Potomac.
After Gizelle exhibited some hypocritical behavior in the picture, shutting down that idea John Dixon made Karen Huger Uncomfortable after insisting that Chris did the same to him, Chris responded to a fan who called Gizelle out and defended her for “flip flopping” as her husband. Candiace Dillard-Bassett also weighed.
“It’s very interesting to me how Gizelle tells it [Candiace Dillard-Bassett] that [Chris Bassett] making him feel very uncomfortable [and] that he should respect, but when Karen told him that Juan made her uncomfortable with hugs, he became ‘delusional,'” wrote a fan on January 29.
“It’s flip flopping idiocy to me,” Chris said the answer.
Chris then responded to another Twitter user, who claimed Gizelle lied about some of them RHOP castmates – all while expecting people to believe the allegations of inappropriate behavior he made against throughout the season.
“Gizelle is sitting there [and] lies about these women come out of one side of the neck [and] he deliberately changed the story/event about women but he wanted people to believe him [Chris Bassett]”,” the person shared, along with a hashtag for “green liar.”
“For seven years, we saw him fail to play the ‘phone’…but NOW…suddenly, he has a great memory,” Chris agreedadded the hashtag “Sure, Jan”.
And after seeing her husband’s post, Candiace weighed in with her own message, showing amusement at the reaction.
“Yes, of course Jan sent me,” he said.
Earlier this month, while appearing on the Page Six podcast, Gizelle revealed that she would double down on her demands on Chris at the reunion.
“I know my truth and I know how I feel – and that’s what I’m going to say,” she said. “There are things I haven’t said to protect Candiace’s feelings because we’re friends. Based on how [Candiace] have reacted on social media and how he played so far and he was a victim… I don’t feel that way anymore.
“I will not hold back [at the reunion],” he added.
