Ashley Darby confirmed the end of her romance with Luke Gulbranson on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
After hinting at the separation by deleting the love-up photo of the two people in the hometown Summer House and Winter House cast members, the The Real Housewives of Potomac star explained what led to the split, revealed when she divorced from Michael Darby will be done, dealt with Mia Thorntondispute with Jacqueline Blakeand others.
“Luke and I are no longer romantically involved,” Ashley confirmed on the January 8 episode of WWHL. “My life is very complicated. As you can imagine, I was in a very difficult situation and Luke is a trooper, believe me, he went through some things.
Unsurprisingly, the “thing” had something to do with Michael.
“It’s and, I mean, it’s not about Luke, but we just had a hard time, period, with parenting and separation,” Ashley said. “My situation with Michael affected Luke and me. Like I said, he was in the army but in the end yes… Nothing, nothing.”
That said, Ashley admits that the two have fun together.
“We really do. I met the whole family. They are amazing, I love them, so beautiful. But you know, I’m newly single. This was my first relationship after. It’s just a good reminder that I’m a girl. And I love to love. I like to be loved,” he continued.
And when Andy Cohen asked her if she felt like seeing her family soon, Ashley said, “You’ll have to talk to Luke about that.”
At WWHL the host then indicated that his friend was a guest, Family karma‘s Brian Benisingle.
“Now, Andy, how are you doing?” replied Ashley.
But Andy didn’t back down, saying, “Make me two for two about the setup. Let’s go.” Ashley later admitted she was “good” at matchmaking.
When virtual fans wanted an update on Ashley and Michael’s divorce, asking when it would be finalized, Ashley revealed that they will be officially divorced “either this month or next month.”
Switch to RHOP topic, Ashley responded to a fan who asked her if she felt she owed an apology for spreading her friend Deborah’s “lie.” Chris Bassett after seeing the recording contradicted what he said.
“It’s a bit difficult… It’s really difficult because Deborah is my friend,” he shared. “We’ve been there for each other. I know she’s honest. Now, what Deborah said and what I saw conflicted, so I had to talk to Deborah about it. We haven’t had a detailed discussion about it.
“You haven’t? It’s been months!” Andy interrupted.
“I don’t know the record,” Ashley replied. “So I haven’t seen the footage, but Deborah is adamant that there are some things that don’t seem right.”
In another segment, Ashley revealed, amid rapid-fire questions, that there was “a lot going on behind the scenes” Karen Hugerdispute with Robyn Dixonthat the cast is responsible for the ongoing problems with Wendy Osefohe is listening to that “iced him out,” and he is on Team Jacqueline in the middle of her drama with Mia.
“I’m going to say Jacqueline,” he declared.

“Not. I gave him a chance to talk to someone who talked about his wife, which I wanted to do myself,” he said.
