The Real Housewives of New York: Legacy reportedly returned to the table after negotiating the contract before the project stalled. This time, however, plans to make a movie in style Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip with a controversial castmate Ramona Singer.
The project initially failed after Jill Zarin allegedly demanding a higher salary similar to her costars who were on the show for many other seasons.
According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the network is trying to make Legacy a shorter version, through style Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – and they were going to Ramona.
The insider said that the show is planning to be filmed in a short time, like RHUGT movie only for a few days.
The source explained, however, that the cast will be only the stars of RHONY. The outlet reported Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon have received an offer to join – and Jill has not.
The contract has reportedly been sent out, although it is not known who will sign it.
According to insiders, Ramona – who previously said she didn’t want to join Legacy – has the potential to change her mind.
Last November, the star told the outlet: “I don’t want to do the show anymore. It’s not for me right now.”
The Real Housewives of New York: The Legacy will air on either Bravo or Peacock.
