According to Melissa, the leaked messages “prove” that Teresa didn’t respond until three weeks later, and she called her sister-in-law’s efforts to repair the relationship “FAKE” and “self-serving.”
Melissa recently claimed she sent a peaceful text to Teresa after the drama The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion – and there was no answer until just before the filming of the next season. After the allegations, all the text exchanges between the stars were leaked online, showing Teresa’s efforts to make good.
On her Instagram story, Melissa reacted to the leak of the message.
He first pointed out that “people” are “definitely spiraling” and need to “‘prove’ they work overtime.”
“But THIS ALL PROVES MY POINT AGAIN!!!” exclaimed Melissa. “He didn’t reply to the text messages we sent him after we filmed the reunion!! CRAP!!!”
He went on to say, “It wasn’t until three weeks later, and after the AIRED reunion – he got a reaction about how he treated me and my sister – that’s when he felt the need to come over and clean it up.”
The star called Teresa’s desire to “discuss our relationship” and fix it “FAKE!”
“This is not original and independent. We wanted from a roller coaster. Point blank,” he continued. “Can’t say more now, but if you continue to watch this season, it will make more sense.”

He also gave Teresa a message in response to the lunch offer – which he made after Teresa watched the reunion and realized that her family would back out.
“Teresa, I texted you driving home from the reunion and you never answered until now. It seems a little calculated to me that you actually have to watch the reunion and read the comments to make yourself feel like you want to fix your family again for the hundredth time. I feel like this text is about you and not about us. Especially when they are going to shoot again in two weeks,” wrote Melissa in the previous exchange.
“After all these years, I finally found a way to accept the way our relationship is. For our children, I don’t want to argue with you, let’s leave it as it is and be what we are,” he added.
“We are family and we should always respect each other. We don’t need to go to lunch. You draw a line in the sand with a party. You have said many times in interviews that we will not be friends. I agree with you. We will always be family and I will always want the best. See you soon.”
