Melissa Gorga have shut down the rumors about your husband Joe Gorga‘s supposed to hold a reunion with his ex-brother-in-law, Joe Judge.
In the latest episode of his podcast, the The Real Housewives of New Jersey The star revealed how he and Gorga ended up in the same place as Giudice during a trip to the Bahamas, showing that he had one filming meeting, and responded to those who have doubted the authenticity of Joes happy time together.
“We really wanted to shine a light on a positive moment and that’s why Joe decided to post this video,” Melissa told listeners on the Feb. 23 episode. “It was 100 percent unplanned. We didn’t know if we were going to meet Joe Giudice,” he added.
In fact, Melissa said it was “like drowning [her] mind” that Giudice lived in the Bahamas before he and Gorga informed, by the fans, that Theresa Judge‘s former partner has been spotted in the hotel casino with a mystery woman.
“Joe and I were walking back to our hotel room after dinner and after we were gambling at the casino … and some fans were like, ‘We saw Joe Giudice over there.’ And we were like, ‘Oh wow, really?’” Melissa recalled.
Then, the next night, after entering the hotel bar with “at least 20 people,” he noticed that Giudice entered from a different door “at the same time.”
“We were all just standing there and kind of, staring at each other. I felt a little awkward. I’m not going to lie. I put my head down a little bit, like, ‘How is this going?’ … I was a little nervous,” Melissa shared.
Meanwhile, he continued, “Joe Gorga walked towards him as soon as he saw him, without hesitation.”
After denying she was behind the video, Melissa warned listeners that the encounter between Gorga and Giudice was a big deal for viewers.
“When Joe and Joe meet each other, man, after all these years, you can bet your bet – the cameras will be up. It’s like hell froze over for a moment, to be honest,” he explained.
After entering first, Gorga and Giudice head to the bar and Melissa greets Giudice, who she suspects may have been expecting to see her, with a hug and a “hello.”
“I think that Joe Giudice, because he was in the hotel that we dreamed of, probably had a feeling that he was going to hit us. He probably had a feeling of anxiety about it, and that’s why his face looks different from Joe Gorga’s face because Joe is so unguardable,” he said.
Looking back, Melissa said she enjoyed witnessing the friendly moment, especially since Gorga “doesn’t have a lot of family.”
“Sometimes I feel bad because I’ve never heard his story. He’s never met him since he was a kid, and believe it or not, that’s Joe Giudice for him,” he said. “I really liked him at that moment because I could see him holding him. It was like Joe was seeing his long-lost brother, or in this case, his long-lost brother-in-law, and I thought when Joe Gorga saw Joe Giudice’s face, all the drama that you literally see what’s happening on camera. it’s set to the side, and it really brings the two of them back to a time when they were really friends and family.
