Danielle Kab open up about his feud with him Jackie Goldschneidershow what he believes happened, and that his strained relationship with his brother.
The 37-year-old is a newbie castmate The Real Housewives of New Jerseyand many fans believe that Jackie’s crusade against her was triggered by Jackie’s own demotion in the cast.
In an interview for HollywoodLife’s Pay Attention Puh-Lease! podcast, Danielle on her saga with Jackie.
“[Jackie] this is gunning for me from when I didn’t invite her to my party,” said the castmate, alluding to her mozzarella party, which Jackie was not invited to (after she gave Danielle a strange look). “So, it makes sense. He was out for me. He can’t handle it.”
“And even though I said a few times, ‘Hey, you make me feel a certain way,’ it was [Jackie’s response] never, ‘I’m sorry I made you feel that way! It’s, ‘Well, I’m going to make you feel like shit now every time I see you,’” she added.
However, Danielle does not believe that Jackie’s demotion is the cause of the conflict. Star explains that he, Jackie, and Rachel Fuda didn’t know his status at the start of the season.
“I’m not full-time. Neither of us are,” Danielle said. “I didn’t know I was full-time until midseason. We were told everyone had a spot. So there was no competition. That helped, because if there was competition, it could have been dirtier.
He continued, “But I think what’s going on … Jackie seems to be very educated. Jackie is a lawyer. Jackie is very different from me. So here I am, fun, bubbly, I don’t know how to spell different words, I’m just having fun . And I think they hated everything about me from the beginning. I was like, ‘Who’s going to join our friend group? This one?’ Instead of being like, ‘Oh my God, I’m in love with this girl, she loves it. We’re not rivals, because we’re not the same.’ I think they had problems from the start.
Addressing the cast’s decision to ask about Danielle’s story about her brother – which she no longer talks about – Danielle said: “I think she comes from a world where there’s a lot more s**t underneath what people say. So they’re going to freak out I … He’d be like, ‘It’s not like that. He must be doing something. It’s going to be on the news. And we’re going to bring it out.’ Because that’s what he’s used to. He’s not used to other people just telling the truth.”
More specifically, he discussed the situation with his brother: “What people don’t know before it happened is that we have a very close family … we have Sunday dinner every Sunday. He is a godfather to my two children.”
“We were very close,” Danielle continued. “So my life is a new life for me. I have almost three years of new life. I have lost 34 years of my life. So it’s something that I live every day and I feel it every day.
