Recently, Jacqueline and Teresa met with their husbands for a long lunch, and the former costars seemed happy to reconnect. For several seasons on the show, the castmates were best friends before their alliance disappeared without a trace.
On Instagram, in a post shared by @allabouttrh, Jacqueline talked about her “5-hour lunch” with Teresa, hinting that there was “a lot to talk about,” and said the reunion “felt great.”
He also clapped back at accusations that he has an agenda.
“No, I don’t want to go back to RHONJ!” wrote Jacqueline, who then explained, “I live in Las Vegas, and [I’m] moving to Orange County in CA this summer! Although in Ultimate Girls Trip sounds fun, I haven’t had a babysitter long enough to take care of Nicholas so I can do it now.
He also set the record straight about other things: “No, our friendship has nothing to do with mutual disdain. Melissa [Gorga].” Currently, Jacqueline and Teresa are fighting with Melissa, Teresa’s sister-in-law.
Hinting about why her past friendship with Teresa failed, Jacqueline said, “Teresa and I had a great friendship before the show, and now all the stress, toxicity, outside influences, and pressures of being on the show are gone, and life is good for both of us, it’s easier to forgive and keep friendships. It’s that simple.”
She captioned the hashtag, “#NewBeginnings” and said it was “for REAL this time.”
“Lucy and Ethel are back.”
