Luis Ruelas‘ higher emotions, etc.

“There’s no problem,” Dolores confirmed about her and Dina in the April 4 episode WWHL. “We were just different and our friendship ended. He stayed on the show; I wasn’t on the show. And he moved on and all this.

“That’s the truth. We never fight. I haven’t seen or spoken to him in 10 years. Maybe once at Teresa’s mother’s funeral,” he explained, because he didn’t know what happened between Dina and Teresa.

“[Teresa] never spoke to me,” she said. “I have nothing to do with him. There is a common, um, understanding between me and Teresa. I didn’t ask anything unless he told me something and same thing here. If he wants to tell me, that’s fine.

And even though she wasn’t a bridesmaid until Dina was out of Teresa’s marriage, she didn’t feel like she was second choice.

“I don’t feel that way,” she said.

After Andy noted that Dolores looked thin, she replied, “Thank you,” and continued to say, “Yes,” when Andy asked if she was taking Ozempic (she later confirmed that she had been taking Mounjaro for six weeks).

Dolores then said that “there is not a single” housewife who does not use diabetes medication, which also helps her lose weight. And when Andy says “half” of Dolores’ cast, Dolores agrees.

“I understand. I wasn’t going to come to a reunion looking bigger than everyone else, so I jumped on the bandwagon,” he explained, adding that the only side effect was “not being hungry.”

“The reunion is two weeks and I have a trainer … I’m telling the truth,” he added.

As for the emotional reaction of Luis to quarrel with Joe GorgaDolores suspects the explosion was the result of “built-up tension.”

“The wedding is coming and he wants everyone to be there and he saw it right away and it was going to happen and he was very emotional,” Dolores explained. “I just missed it because [Paul Connell] I’m sick and I’m leaving.”

Luis also drew criticism for wearing Teresa’s father’s pajamas, even though Nonno “never wears them,” and he faced backlash from “pizza gate,” referring to the pizza oven business he and Joe shared.

“There are so many things that come out and I still haven’t heard the whole story,” Dolores said. “[It’s] very new every day.”

About the drama back-and-forth itself with Jennifer AydinDolores says the new truce is on RHONJ will remain “until next time.”

“I hope so, but who knows?” he asked.

Although Luis has been blamed for causing trouble between Teresa and her sister, Dolores doesn’t think he’s responsible for their current estrangement.

“I don’t think Luis is the cause,” he said. “There were a lot of things that happened before Luis … He said, ‘Oh, Luis came into the picture, now he’s not going to get along.’ But this was a long time ago.

Later, the WWHL: After the ShowDolores joked that she “had this around my neck” when Andy mentioned the upcoming recording. RHONJ reunion and suggested there is nowhere for Teresa and Melissa Gorga go here.

“I feel that way. Teresa felt the same way. They all feel it,” said Dolores, agreeing with Andy that there was a clear feeling between the women. “Where did it come from?”
